In order to have more runs of the show out on the field, the band tries to attend at least one marching competition a year. This year we have chosen to go to the Gulf Coast Marching Classic in Clear Creek ISD. Here is the info:
Inspection:
- ALL regular inspection items
- Shorts of your choice
- Jeans
- Black show shirt
- Jacket
Saturday’s Schedule:
- EAT BREAKFAST before arrival
- 2 tailgate meals provided. 1 meal at before departing Dulles; 1 meal before finals
- 9:00 AM report time
- 11:00 AM tailgate served at Dulles
- 11:30 AM depart for contest
- 2:30 PM prelims performance
- 3:15 PM move to stands to watch last few bands
- 5:15 PM prelim awards/finals announced
- 5:30 PM tailgate served
- If we advance to finals, I will not know a schedule until 5:15ish PM.
- If we do not advance to finals, we will eat our tailgate meal and return home.
- A Remind text will be sent out letting you know if we advanced to finals. Another Remind will be sent out with our estimated return arrival to Dulles.
- 7:00 PM finals begin
- 10:00 PM Finals awards
- 11:30 PM estimated return time to Dulles if we advance to finals
